ordinary general assembly For the holding company for maritime and
land transport
The ordinary general assembly for the
holding company for maritime and land transport was held under the
chairmanship of the engineer / Mohamed adel elmozy commissioned on
the public business sector companies it was attended by
representatives of the central auditing agency , and members of the
general assembly and members of the board of directors of the
holding company and representative of the ministry of investments to
review the board’s report on the activity of the holding company
and the adoption of separate financial statements and consolidated
financial statements for the fiscal year 2009/2010.

- Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holding Company report
for the financial year 2009 / 2010 and reviewed the company's
portfolio, which includes (16) subsidiary subject to the law (203)
in addition to contributions in (18 companies) He pointed to the
completion of transfer of ownership of General Nile Company for
river transportation during the fiscal year 2009 / 2010 to the
device industry, maritime services and thus were excluded from the
portfolio of the Holding Company.
He also presented the most important
efforts in the framework of the program of development and
modernization of transport sector companies as well as investments
made in the three container handling companies at a cost of 147
million pounds, as well as update the fleet of passenger car
transport companies at a cost of 81 million pounds.
Engineer / Mohamed Adel Al – mozy confirmed
that the transport sector of all kinds is one of the most important
pillars of development programs and improve the standard of living,
one of the most important service sectors, which are directly
related to the citizen.
